Description

Hokkaido scallops are famous for their delicious flavour as sashimi. With comparison to Atlantic sea scallops, these Pacific Ocean scallops have a sweeter, creamier taste with a more tender texture. Our product are sashimi-grade.

Origin/Harvest Region: Hokkaido Japan

Temperature of save:at approximately -18° C


Suitable for: sashimi, bowl(chirashi)

Handling: Flash frozen for freshness. Can be kept up to 5 months in the freezer. Once thawed, please consume immediately as sashimi or keep chilled in chiller to be cooked over 2 days. Do not refreeze

Remove desired number of scallops, wash and leave it out to defrost for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into sashimi slices. Each scallop is equivalent to approximately 2 to 3 slices of sashimi, can be sliced thinner for carpaccio.

Nutrition: Scallop is a high-protein, low-fat, healthy food ingredient. It contain abundant minerals such as iron and zinc, in addition to vitamins B1 and B2. It also contains plenty of taurine, a type of amino acid that is used as a main ingredient in nutritional drinks.
